Gypsum Fibrosum Shi Gao 30g Clears Heat, drains Fire.
With Zhi Mu, clears Heat from the Lungs and Stomach to alleviate irritability, moisten Dryness, and enrich Yin.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 9g Clears Heat from the Qi Stage, Lung and Stomach, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness and generates fluids.
With Huang Bai, clears Heat and drains Fire for Yin Deficiency Fire.
Fried Rx. Glycyrrhizae Zhi Gan Cao 3g Tonifies the Spleen and augments Qi and Moderates and harmonizes the properties of other herbs.
With Geng Mi, benefits the Stomach, protects fluids and prevents the extremely cold properties of the other herbs from injuring the Middle Jiao.
Fr. Oryzae Geng Mi 8-30g Tonifies Yang, tonifies Qi , stops restlessness, generates fluids and stops thirst.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 4-9g Releases the exterior, adjusts the Ying and Wei, warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, disperses Cold, unblocks Yang, transforms Qi and releases the muscle layer.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 9g Drains Damp-Heat especially from the Lower Jiao.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 9g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen, induces sweating and expels Wind-Dampness.
With Shi Gao, for Warm-Damp febrile disease with fever, profuse sweating and generalized body aches.
With Huang Bai, for pain, swelling, and weakness of the lower extremities or skin lesions due to Wind-Dampness.
Rz. Arisaematis Preparatum Zhi Tian Nan Xiang 6g Dries Dampness, expels Phlegm, reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Cang Zhu, for Wind-Damp painful obstruction.
